Terms of use
Last updated 1 October 2026
The plain-language terms for using Strancer: what we provide, what we ask of you, and what to expect from Riya.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use the Strancer app, including the questions before your call, your calls with Riya, group calls and your dashboard. By using the app you agree to them. If you use Strancer on behalf of your company, you confirm you're allowed to.
Strancer AI Labs ("Strancer", "we") provides the service. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
2. What Strancer provides
A conversation with Riya, Strancer's AI consultant, about how your company works; an AI Transformation roadmap prepared by Strancer's consultants from those conversations; and, where agreed separately, help building a pilot. What's included for your company, such as the number of people and group calls, depends on the package agreed with Strancer.
3. Your account
- Use an email address you control. You sign in with a one-time code; don't share codes or sign-in links.
- Keep your details accurate.
- The person who set up your company on Strancer can invite colleagues and decide who gets dashboard access. People let into a group call through your company link take part in that call only.
- We may pause an account that's misused, and will tell you why.
4. Using the service fairly
Please don't:
- share information in a call that you aren't allowed to share, such as other people's personal data without a reason, or confidential information you're not permitted to disclose;
- try to break, overload or get around the security of the app;
- use Strancer, Riya or the use-case library to build a competing service, or copy them at scale;
- use the service for anything unlawful.
5. About AI
Riya is an AI. She can misunderstand or make mistakes, and what she says during a call isn't professional advice. Your AI Transformation roadmap is prepared and reviewed by Strancer's consultants, but it's a recommendation: decisions about your business, and their results, remain yours. We don't guarantee particular savings or outcomes.
6. Confidentiality and ownership
What you tell us about your company stays confidential to Strancer and the people at your company on Strancer, as described in our privacy policy.
Your company owns the information it gives us. Once delivered, your company may use its roadmap and documents for its own business. Strancer keeps ownership of the app, Riya, our methods and the use-case library, and may use what we learn in anonymised, aggregated form to improve them - never in a way that identifies you or your company.
7. Fees
Any fees, and what they cover, are agreed with Strancer separately. Paid packages will be explained before you're asked to pay.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Strancer available, but calls can drop and the service can be interrupted for maintenance. Riya keeps what was covered, so you can continue. We may improve or change features over time, and will tell you about changes that matter.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Strancer isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on the roadmap. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.
10. Ending
You can stop using Strancer at any time, and ask us to delete your information by emailing riya@strancer.com. We may end access if these terms are seriously broken.
11. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India. For any question about them, email riya@strancer.com.
